Space is often thought of as a desolate, emotionless void. Its vastness evokes escapist fantasies of intergalactic travel and the world of the future. I am particularly drawn to the 1960s space-inspired designs of Pierre Cardin and vintage science fiction, enamored by their representation of the “future”. This collection of knit fabrics aims to re-interpret these retro-futuristic predictions of the contemporary world through a modern lens, utilizing sleek lines, graphic patterns, shaping, and metallic finishes.
